Beyond the Curtain - Webinar Series: OHS on a Multi-Employer Worksite - Planning, On Site and When an Incident Occurs
January 29, 2026 | Virtual Event

OVERVIEW

This session provides attendees with an overview of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) considerations on a multi-employer worksite. The session will outline the planning activities before work begins, key responsibilities and coordination when on site, and the actions to take when an incident occurs.

Participants will gain an understanding of demonstrating due diligence with respect to OHS, and how to apply scalable OHS activities that support safe operations across a multi-employer worksite. The session will also emphasize how to build consistent processes (progress, not perfection!) that remain effective for both large and small worksites.

KEY TOPICS

      • Explain OHS planning requirements for multi-employer worksites, including coordination, information sharing, and contractor inductions.
      • Understand on-site expectations such as supervision, communication, simultaneous work, and maintaining clear roles and responsibilities between employers.
      • Clarify incident response requirements, from reporting obligations and investigation coordination to ensuring effective follow-up and corrective actions across all employers.
      • Learn to apply scalable and practical safety systems that remain effective across different project sizes, contractor capacities, and resource levels.
